Emergency Knitting Bag (Green)
Product Information Emergency Knitting Bag, in Green! ***** Update as of December 2, 2009: We are not having much success at the moment restocking the Emergency Knitting / Crocheting bags in green. When this runs out, for now, it looks like it'll remain out of stock for a while. We apologize for the inconvenience. We've been there. Caught unawares, empty handed, with time a-wasting. Whether it's at the doctor's, waiting for the mechanic to finish, or finding ourselves unexpectedly bored at a tailgating party, it would be just so much better if we had some knitting to tide us over! Never fear, you shall never be caught unprepared again. Behold, the Emergency Knitting Bag! The bag is boldly labelled to remind you that this is not your regular project; it is your backup, your lifeline! Break open in times of emergencies! Use it to store a go-to washcloth project, a baby hat project or even a pair of socks! Pattern, needles, yarn, check! Store it in your car, in the glove compartment or next to your roadside emergency kit. You'll know just how to make your day better the next time your hands start getting that familiar feeling. The back of the bag has a flat pocket, and the front a zippered pocket for securing items. Inside is more organizational goodness, with three mesh pockets, and also a see-through, zippered vinyl compartment. There is absolutely no hook-and-loop (a.k.a. Velcro) anything here to snag our precious yarn. The bottom is padded to stabilize it as it sits. It unzips for a lovely, wide opening. The bag measures 6" x 10" x 4". It's compact, yet very roomy. The logo is a pseudo medic alert symbol with two needles piercing a ball of yarn. (Well, I called it a medic alert symbol but what do I know. I have been advised by an FDNY paramedic that the original symbol is actually called the Star of Life. We shall hereby refer to it by its rightful name!) Who carries emergency knitting around? We do!
